I really like Joyce's post on "The Hunger Games" on how she compares Peeta and Gale. She gives a very thorough overview on the characters and how we might look at them and decide for ourselves who is better. She makes both of them seem like they are the best people in the world, making it really hard for the readers to decide who is truly worthy of Katniss, even though most of us have already fallen pretty hard for Peeta and don't even pay any attention to Gale now.
The second post I really liked was Aidan's post on "Unwind" on who he compares three very different characters. He makes you think who is truly right in this kind of situation. Is it Lev, who believes that just because authorities tell him it is the right thing to do, that technically you "live on". But it won't be the same you. Would it? Or is it Connor, who will give it his all to do whatever he can to get out of this situation, to not be unwound. Maybe it's Risa, who wants to get out of the situation, but sees it as hopeless and impossible to get out of.
I really like how Joyce compared Peeta and Gale and made it hard for the readers to truly choose how is the best of the two and who Katniss truly deserves. I really like how Aidan got me thinking about being "unwound" and if you truly live on or as someone new and what would happen if this ever happened in the future and who's decision is it really?
How I can improve my blog posts is by making them more thought provoking and discussing a topic were the reader can't chose sides and is battling with themselves trying to decide which side is better.
